MERPACÍFICO’s team of professionals works, every day, to improve quality standards throughout the entire phase of the production process following a rigorous traceability system in accordance with those established by the main organizations to guarantee food safety (IFS Food Food Safety Standard ).

Furthermore, the commitment to incorporating the most cutting-edge technology in the plant allows us to distribute thousands of tons operating directly, from the origin, in the main fishing grounds, where we have company personnel and our own freezers (Mauritania, Morocco and Senegal), to obtain products of the highest quality.

MERPACÍFICO has the IFS FOOD quality certificate. This is a food safety standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) to audit companies that manufacture food. It focuses on the safety and food quality of processed products, ensuring that products meet the strictest quality and safety controls.

An Octopus recognized for its flavor

The company MERPACÍFICO, an octopus specialist, works with an excellent raw material: the Dakhla octopus, one of the best in the world. This is the basis for the development of a product recognized internationally for its flavor.
